FIELD: method for casting.
SUBSTANCE: method for casting a web from a material containing alkaloids. Method includes the following steps: providing a tank (22) with a piston (23); filling the tank with suspension; providing a moulding box (24) in fluid communication with the tank; pressing the suspension in the tank by means of a piston to move the suspension from the tank to the injection box, and casting the suspension from the injection box to obtain a web of alkaloid-containing material. The present invention also relates to a device 10 for casting a web of material containing alkaloids.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to prevent pressure variations in the moulding box and increase the uniformity of the web of homogenized tobacco material.
