SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a casting plant for casting a web of material containing alkaloids and a method for casting a web of material. The casting plant for casting a web of material containing alkaloids comprises a casting box configured to contain pulp for casting to form a web of material containing alkaloids, the casting box forming one or more side walls, a sliding cover configured to slide along one or more than the side walls of the casting box, a movable support and a moulding blade configured to form the pulp located in the casting box on the movable support to obtain a cast web.

EFFECT: improved control of the pressure value inside the casting box and reduced presence of dry pulp inclusions, increased uniformity of the moulded sheet.
