FIELD: hygiene.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to tooth brushing composition containing abrasive and tin ion source. Disclosed tooth brushing composition contains: a. abrasive containing precipitated silicon dioxide particles, characterized by: (i) BET surface area in range of 0.1 to 9 m2/g; (ii) packing density in range from 35 to 55 lb/ft3 (iii) Einlehner abrasion value in range of 8 to 25 mg loss/100,000 rpm; (iv) total volume of pores for mercury penetration in range of 0.5 to 1.7 cm3/g; (v) reduced surface area, in which small pores are filled and eliminated without eliminating pores of more than 1000 Å; and (vi) compatibility with tin in range of 70 to 99 %; b. tin ion source. Tin ion source is tin fluoride and tin chloride dihydrate, or the tin ion source is a tin salt selected from a group consisting of tin fluoride, tin chloride dihydrate, tin acetate, tin gluconate, tin oxalate, tin sulphate, tin lactate and tin tartrate.

EFFECT: used in composition abrasive based on silicon dioxide has improved compatibility with tin, which provides higher overall efficiency of tin; in particular, extracted tin ions in 30 days at 40 °C can be more than 75 % of initial concentration of extracted tin ions.
