SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an oral care composition and methods for preparing and using it. Described is an oral care composition containing, in terms of total weight of composition: from 3 wt% to 7 wt% ethyl cellulose; from 12 wt % to 22 wt % binder, where binder is a hydrogenated colophony or methacryl copolymer or a combination thereof; from 0.1 wt up to 3 wt % of acetyltributylcitrate; from 4 wt % to 8 wt % fluorine-containing compound, where fluorine-containing compound is sodium fluoride; from 50 wt % to 70 wt % of a solvent, where the solvent is ethanol, and from 2 wt % to 8 wt % finely dispersed silicon dioxide.

EFFECT: technical result is the development of an improved composition for oral care, which is characterized by stability of phases, which can be obtained from ingredients with permanent properties and which will not adversely affect the color of teeth.
