SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to static converters of alternating voltage at input to alternating voltage at output with intermediate link of direct current. Static semiconductor frequency converter with DC intermediate link comprises control unit, rectifier, transformer with primary and secondary windings, semiconductor switches in the form of transistors. Two switches are connected to one pole of the rectifier and two switches are connected to the other pole of the rectifier, the primary winding of the transformer is made with three outputs, dividing it into four sections with the same number of turns, beginning of primary winding is connected to primary winding end, two switches from one pole of rectifier are connected to first and third outputs of primary winding, and two other switches from the other pole of the rectifier are connected to the beginning and second terminal of the primary winding.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is reduction of dimensions and weight of static frequency converter with intermediate link of direct current.
