FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a prosthetic implant. Prosthetic implant is suitable for implantation into a human body and contains a composite material. In its turn, composite material contains basic material and multiple additives. Base material contains silicone gel. Additives are selected from radiotransparent additives and/or hyperechoic additives. At frequency of 1 Hz modulus of elasticity of said composite material is greater than modulus of elasticity of said base material, and wherein said modulus of elasticity is greater than modulus of elasticity of said base material by at least 20 %. Additives have a root-mean-square value of the surface roughness from 0.2 to 40 nm, and also have a size of not more than 500 mcm, where the difference between their dimensions is at least 20 %.
EFFECT: technical result is improved radiological properties, such as improved radiopacity, and reduced associated visual noise on ultrasonic images, absence of leakage of free molecules from the main material.
