SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the production of implants or intermediate products of such implants. The method for the production of implants, in particular breast implants, includes: a) provision of an implant shell containing vulcanized or non-vulcanized silicone, in particular having a front side, a rear side and an area that connects the specified front and rear side; b) vulcanization of non-vulcanized silicone of the implant shell to subject to full or partial vulcanization, and application of at least one non-vulcanized additional silicone layer to the implant shell obtained in such a way; c) placement of the first sheet of polyfoam on at least part of the non-vulcanized implant shell, in particular on the front side, the area connecting front and rear side, and at least part of the rear side of the implant shell, as it is provided at the stage a) or as it is obtained at the stage b); d) at least one stage of vulcanization of the implant shell obtained at the stage c) to vulcanize non-vulcanized silicone from the stage a), or the additional layer of non-vulcanized silicone from the stage b), and, if necessary, silicone of the implant shell, not vulcanized yet, thereby binding the first sheet of polyfoam to the implant shell; e) removal of an excess polyfoam sheet not bound by vulcanization at the stage d) to the rear side of the implant shell; f) application of at least one sheet containing partially or fully non-vulcanized silicone to the rear side of the implant shell, thereby, in particular, covering those parts that are not covered with the first sheet of polyfoam.

EFFECT: increase in the quality of implants and increase in the reliability and reproducibility of their production method.
