Device for processing streams of binary signals stored on information carriers which are invariable with time, binary signals stream comprises an image and metadata, wherein the metadata includes a first luminance value and a second luminance value; image is encoded by digital code values D, which represent a normalized brightness value Y, based at least in part on a functional model: ; parameters n, m, c1, c2 and c3 are given values; and the normalized value V of the D values of the digital code is in range of 0≤V≥1, wherein the D values of the digital code exclude redundant code values.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing visually perceptible coding errors.
