SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a winding machine for winding films and a method of linear winding rolls, which can be used on lines for making plastic films. Winding machine comprises support frame, at least one bobbin holder, installed on support frame and made with possibility of rotation around its own axis, several bobbins installed on said holder and permanently rotating together with it, at least one contact roller movable between at least one proximal contact position in which it is in contact with the coiled roll, at least one accompanying roller. Contact rollers are connected with first and second electric drives by means of at least one first and second working rods respectively. Working rods are made with possibility of rotation around axes of rotation parallel to roll rotation axis. Method of linear winding of rolls with stretch film in above described machine includes stages of bobbin case rotation on bobbin, arranging at least one contact roller in at least one proximal contact position, turning the spool from the winding position of the coil to the roll unloading working position, Arrangement of at least one accompanying roller in at least one proximal contact position, transverse cutting of stretch film and unloading of roll. At that contact beads are moved by means of the first and the second electric drives by means of at least one first and second working rods respectively, and the accompanying roller is moved by means of the second electric drive by means of at least one second working rod.
EFFECT: method and device provide higher efficiency of winding.
