FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for rehabilitation of patients with dry eye syndrome (DES) associated with meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). For this purpose, stage I involves exposure to wide-pulse light accompanied by local drug therapy. 7 days after the end of stage I, non-contact warming of eyelids is performed – stage II. Immediately after stage II at stage III, eyelids are massaged with a glass stick.
EFFECT: invention provides effective treatment of the given pathology, prolongation of remission period, reduction of subjective symptoms and maintenance of treatment adherence.
