SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of treating exhaust gas of a cement burning furnace. Method includes stages, at which: flow of spent gas of cement burning furnace from annealing furnace is prepared, water-soluble polysulphide of alkali-earth metal is prepared, combining the furnace exhaust gas flow for burning cement with a water-soluble polysulphide of an alkali-earth metal to form a combined stream, and removing at least a portion of one heavy metal in permanently insoluble form from the combined stream. Disclosed is a system for treating exhaust gas of a cement burning furnace.
EFFECT: reduced investment and operating costs.
