METHOD OF PROFESSIONAL SELECTION FOR OPERATION IN CONDITIONS OF POSSIBLE TOTAL COOLING BY CONTENT OF IRISIN IN PERIPHERAL BLOOD Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01N33/48 A61K38/16

Abstract RU 2729022 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly labor physiology, immunology, and concerns a method of professional selection for operation in conditions of influence of low temperatures to determine content of irisin in blood. Method is characterized by the fact that peripheral blood of the examined individuals is examined for content of irisin before and after human exposure in the cold chamber for 5 minutes at -25 °C. In the absence of changes in the content of irisin or reduction of its concentration of less than 25 % of the initial level, stability (weak sensitivity) to total cooling is stated, if the concentration of irisin is reduced by 30 % and more of the person being tested, the person is considered to be sensitive to general cooling, which is associated with a decrease in the content of nuclear cells circulating in blood by 20 % and more of the initial value.

EFFECT: method enables detecting individuals capable of withstanding heat deficiency and total cooling without risk of secondary environmentally dependent immunodeficiency formation.
