FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device (100) and production line (200) for manufacturing of carrying structure (1) of installation for transportation of people, for example, an escalator, consistently arranged, partially or completely automatically operating and interacting assembly stations (101, 102, 103). Each of assembly stations (101, 102, 103) contains components and machines in the form of at least one holding device (31, 35, 39) and, at least, one welding robot (33, 37, 41), as well as optionally at least one robot-manipulator (38, 313, 321). Assembly stations (101, 102, 103) with respect to components and machines used thereon are calculated so that intermediate products can be produced by means of corresponding assembling stages and accordingly in coordination with next assembly station, which in series and with optimized short clock time can be transmitted from one assembly station to another, that at the end of the sequence it is possible to obtain ready bearing structure with load carrying capacity (1).
EFFECT: inventions allow assembling the bearing structure simply, quickly, reliably, cheaply and/or with high accuracy.
