FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device protection equipment contains the first sensor for temperature detection of coolant used for cooling of device including heat-generating part. Second sensor for detecting temperature of device and controller. Controller applies limitation of actuation to the device based on the first detected temperature detected by the first sensor and the second detected temperature detected by the second sensor. Controller calculates the difference between the first and second detected temperatures. Applies limitation of actuation to device when temperature difference is higher than predetermined threshold value of temperature difference. And applies limitation of actuation to device, when the temperature difference is lower than the predetermined threshold temperature difference value and the second detected temperature is higher than the predetermined first threshold temperature value.

EFFECT: technical result consists in suppression of temperature increase in the heat-generating part.
