FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrophysical methods for processing current-conducting materials, particularly, to devices for hardening and reconditioning of parts of machines and mechanisms by electrosparking alloying (ESA). Process current pulse generator for electric-spark alloying contains power supply module connected to electrode-tool control module, module of capacitance accumulators consisting of a finite number of capacitance accumulators with a charge-discharge circuit, which includes a module of charge-discharge switches, which is a finite number of electronic switches. Generator comprises a charging-discharge keys control module, to which a charging-bit switches module is connected, and an adapter configured to generate the discharge circuit condition evaluation signals and further transmission thereof to the charging and discharging keys control module, which includes electronic circuits for generating signals for controlling the charging process of all capacitors of capacitive and further serial discharge of all capacitive accumulators according to the algorithm - the next digit after the previous bit.
EFFECT: invention increases the repetition rate of electric pulses of process current in the process of discharge of the accumulation capacity of the pulse generator, which reduces the cooling time of the products of erosion of the anode material in the melt of the melt during electro-mass transfer, high temperature of the micrometallurgical process and liquid-phase synthesis of compounds of different elements in the doped layer, as well as improved physical-chemical and operational characteristics thereof.
