WATER SUPPLY CONTROL METHOD Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC E03B1/00

Abstract RU 2729986 C2

FIELD: automatic control system.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic control of water supply system for domestic and technical needs and can be used in industry, agriculture, as well as in housing and communal services. Method consists in controlling a water storage system comprising a water storage capacity, a feed pump, a flow pump and a control device. Water supply system is supplemented with a water level sensor in the water storage tank, the output signals of which are an upper level (UL), an intermediate level (IL), an emergency level (EL), a dry run level (DR), water source level sensor, output signals of which are an upper level of a source (ULS), a lower level of a source (LLS), level of dry run of the source (DRS), as well as sensors of the following composition: activation of the flow pump, overflow, flooding, water temperature, air temperature, water flow meters from the water supply line and from the source, equipped with pulse sensors, flow switch. Complex control of water supply system is performed by means of control system as follows: disconnection of supply and supply pumps is priority in relation to connection. At the level of the water reserve from UL to EL, activation of the flow pump is permitted. At the level of the water reserve from EL to DR the activation of the flow pump is performed only in the mode of manual control under the consumer control. When the level of water in the reservoir drops below the DR, the operation of the flow pump is prohibited. If the level of the water reserve in the reservoir is less than or equal to the IL, and the level in the source is greater than the ULS, the feed pump is switched on. At the source level below the LLS, the feed pump is switched off. If the level in the source is lower than the DRS, the supply pump is switched off and its actuation is blocked. When the flood sensor is actuated, the operation of the flow pump is inhibited and the supply pump is switched off. When the level in the reservoir increases to the high-voltage one, the supply pump is switched off. In case the overflow sensor is actuated, the supply pump is switched off. In the presence of a signal of the operation sensor of the supply pump for a long period of time, the delivery pump is switched off. In case of water temperature sensor actuation its heating is switched on. In case of operation of air temperature sensor, its heating is switched on. In case of absence of signals of pulse sensors of filling the water storage capacity for a long period of time, the consumer is informed about the absence of water renewal.

EFFECT: providing water saving, maintaining the water level in the reservoir at the maximum possible value, increasing the service life and trouble-free operation of the supply and delivery pumps, also providing a water supply for urgent needs, monitoring long-term storage of water without renewal, protecting elements of the system from overflow, leaks, unorganized water consumption, reduced temperature of water and ambient air below dangerous for freezing.
