SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used to maintain homeostasis by maintaining the ratio of pro-inflammatory/anti-inflammatory cytokines Th1/Th2. Mixtures of bacteria strains are used consisting of: Bifidobacterium longum DLBL 07 DSM 25669, Bifidobacterium longum DLBL 08 DSM 25670, Bifidobacterium longum DLBL 09 DSM 25671, Bifidobacterium longum DLBL 10 DSM 25672 and Bifidobacterium longum DLBL 11 DSM 25673, to maintain homeostasis by maintaining the ratio of pro-inflammatory/anti-inflammatory cytokines Th1/Th2 in range of 2.90 to 4.50 and by reducing the amount of uremic toxins. Group of inventions also relates to use of a composition containing said strains to maintain homeostasis.
EFFECT: use of the given group of inventions enables maintaining a long-term state of homeostasis in the human body in treating renal insufficiency by reducing the amount of uremic toxins, preferably of bacterial origin, such as indole and/or cresol.
