FIELD: electricity; technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of electropolishing surfaces of parts from metals and alloys and can be used for processing surfaces of blades of turbomachines. Proposed method comprises immersion of metal part into electroconductive medium and supply of opposite sign of electric potential to part and electrically conductive medium. Electro conductive medium used is anionites made in form of fibers and impregnated with electrolyte solution, providing electrical conductivity of said fibers, ion removal of metal from surface of part with removal of microprotrusions and contact of entire polished surface of part with said fibers and fibers between each other. Fibers and part are brought into relative motion, electric potential is supplied to the part and fibers, which ensures ion removal of metal from the surface of the processed part and its electro-polishing in the medium of said fibers until the specified roughness of the polished part surface is obtained.

EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of the part.
