FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of electropolishing surfaces of parts from metals and alloys, and can be used for processing surfaces of blades of turbomachines for improving their operational characteristics. Proposed method comprises contact of machined part surface with electroconductive medium and electroconductive medium with electrode, supply of opposite sign of electric potential to part and electrode. Electroconductive medium used is a tape made of fibers of anion exchangers impregnated with electrolyte solution, which provides conductivity of the tape and ion carry-over of metal from the surface of the part with removal of microprotrusions from the processed surface of the part, and electrode are located inside tape, ensuring absence of direct contact between electrode and part, provide contact of polished part surface with tape, the tape is moved relative to surface of the part, electric potentials opposite to the sign are supplied to the part and to the electrode and polished till the specified roughness of the machined part surface is obtained.

EFFECT: higher quality and reliability of machining.
