FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of electropolishing the surface of the blades of turbomachines. The method involves installing the processed feather of the blade into an electrode covering the feather with a gap in which the ionite tape is located, ensuring the contact of the tape with the entire processed surface of the feather and with the covering electrode, moving the tape in the gap, supplying an electric potential opposite in sign to the blade and the covering electrode. In this case, a composite covering electrode is used, consisting of the back electrode and the pressure side electrode. Two ionite tapes are used, one is stretched from the pressure side, the second from the back side and the tapes are pressed with electrodes from the back and pressure side until a gap is formed, both tapes are moved from the input to the output edge of the feather, and in the area of the input edge of the feather, vibration movements of the feather are performed transverse to the longitudinal axis of the feather.
EFFECT: improving the quality and reliability of the surface treatment of the blade feather by increasing the uniformity of its surface treatment and ensuring a given geometry of the blade feather.
