SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for extraction and unloading of cutting ends (2) of rods from mechanical machine (4), having loading mechanism (3) for supply of said rods. Device implementing proposed method comprises supporting structure (33) and pusher module arranged on it module (7), gripping element (5) with tubular body in form of bushing with first receptacle for reception and adhesion with push bar module (7) and second receptacle for receiving and engagement with trimming end (2), wherein gripping element (5) has sliding element (9) for receiving and movement of trim end (2) in storage area (Zc). Besides, device comprises support and moving module (10) for gripping element (5) and resetting module (11), made with possibility of movement for penetration into said gripping element (5) for ejection of cutoff end (2) and its direction into said sliding element (9).

EFFECT: use of the invention simplifies the design of the device and improves its versatility.
