FIELD: ecology; agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ecology and agriculture and can be used for determination of quality of products during cultivation in closed agrobiotechnological systems with hydroponic feeding and foliar top dressing of vegetable plants. Method for determination of nutritive value of vegetable products grown in closed agrobiotechnological systems includes testing using protozoa Daphnia magna, which are placed in an aqueous solution, wherein the biotesting is carried out in two forms of the aqueous solution – an experimental solution with the addition of milled vegetable products, treated during the vegetation period with preparations 14 days after top dressing, and a control solution with addition of milled vegetable products without foliar preparation treatment during vegetation period. Daphnias of 6-7-day-old age are placed in solution for 4 days and by the reproduction coefficient of daphnia defined as the ratio of the number of daphnia in the test solution to the number of daphnia in the control solution, conclusion is made on nutritive value of the tested vegetable products.

EFFECT: proposed method for determination of nutritive value of vegetable products is based on using protozoa organisms of daphnia and their productivity in various conditions.
