SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing precursor renal cells, in which the differentiated pluripotent stem cells are differentiated (iPS-cells) and the cell population is selected from a cell population containing renal precursor cells. Method involves cultivation of iPS-cells under conditions inducing differentiation into renal precursor cells and separation of cell population from cells, obtained at step (i), by selecting by markers of cell surface: CD9(-), CD140a(+), CD140b(+) and CD271(+). Method involves using at least two markers of a cell surface, comprising a combination of one marker of negative selection, selected from a group consisting of CD9(-), CD55(-) and CD326(-), and one positive selection marker selected from a group consisting of CD106(+), CD140a(+), CD140b(+), CD165(+) and CD271(+) or three cell surface markers, comprising a combination of one negative selection marker selected from a group consisting of CD9(-), CD55(-) and CD326(-), and two positive selection markers selected from the group consisting of CD106(+), CD140a(+), CD140b(+), CD165(+) and CD271(+), or three positive selection markers selected from the group consisting of CD106(+), CD140a(+), CD140b(+), CD165(+) and CD271(+). Method involves using two cell surface markers selected from a group consisting of CD9(-), CD140a(+), CD140b(+) and CD271(+).
