SUBSTANCE: invention refers to organic chemistry, namely to a bibenzoimidazol derivative of general formula 
wherein R1 is pyridyl; R2 represents an aromatic 9-merous bicyclic ring system, wherein one or two carbon atoms can be substituted by N, O, or S; or to its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate or solvate. The invention also refers to a combination based on the compound of formula (I) and an additional specified agent, a pharmaceutical composition based on the compound of formula (I), a method of treating Clostridium difficile infection and a method of eliminating Clostridium difficile bacterium.
EFFECT: produced are new bibenzoimidazol derivatives possessing effective biological properties.
