FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Disclosed is a method for prediction of unfavorable cardiovascular events within a year after coronary artery bypass surgery. Left ventricular ejection fraction value is determined by echocardiography before operative treatment, total blood cholesterol level, on the basis of molecular-genetic analysis, presence of genotype LM of polymorphism rs854560 of gene PON1 and genotype TT of polymorphism rs2238296 of gene POLG is determined. Probability of unfavorable cardiovascular events within a year after coronary artery bypass surgery is calculated by formula p=1/1+exp(-z). If p is greater than or equal to 0.5, unfavorable cardiovascular events are predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides an effective method for prediction of unfavorable cardiovascular events within a year after coronary artery bypass surgery.
