FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to non-textured electrical steel sheet used as material of iron cores of electrotechnical equipment. Steel has a chemical composition containing the following, wt. %: C: not more than 0.0050, Si: 2.06–5.0, Mn: 0.03–3.0, P: not more than 0.2, S: not more than 0.005, Al: not more than 0.05, N: not more than 0.0050, O: not more than 0.010, Ti: not more than 0.0030, Nb: not more than 0.0004, B: 0.0005–0.0050, balance - Fe and unavoidable impurities. Ratio [Mn]/[Si] between the content of Mn (% (wt.)) and the content of Si (% (wt.)) is not less than 0.20.
EFFECT: steel has excellent characteristics on losses in the core after annealing for stress removal, as well as recyclability for secondary use.
