SUBSTANCE: invention relates to crystalline γ-modification of 3,4-dihydro-2-methoxy-2-methyl-4-phenyl-2H,5H-pyrano[3,2-c]benzopyran-5-one, characterized by a melting point of 161–164 °C and crystal cell parameters values: spatial group C2/c, a=23.542(1) Å, b=8.494(1) Å, c=19.780(1) Å, β=125.977(3)°, Z=8. Invention also relates to a method of producing crystalline γ modification and to use as a rodenticide agent.

EFFECT: technical result: obtaining a novel crystalline modification of 3,4-dihydro-2-methoxy-2-methyl-4-phenyl-2H,5H-pyrano[3,2-c]benzopyran-5-one, which can be used as a rodenticide agents and having higher biological effectiveness compared to warfarin.
