FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to three versions of a device releasing a substance from an initial material and delivering the active substance by inhalation, and a cartridge with the starting material. In the first version, the device includes a frame which defines sections in which the initial material is contained. Device has channels for air flow. Each channel for air flow is connected to sections with initial material. Each channel for air flow is connected with locking element, which prevents flow of air through said channel. Channels for air flow are connected to formation of one channel for air flow before outlet of said device. Device comprises drive connected with locking element. Drive is configured to unlock said channel for air flow of selected section with initial material to allow flow of air to flow to initial material in said section and through it. Channel for air flow and selected section with initial material are arranged so that air flow is directed only through selected section with initial material and corresponding channel for air flow. In the second version, the device includes sections with initial material, in which the initial material is protected with an impermeable sealant for air. Sealant includes control section used to open through hole in sealant. In the third version, the device includes a substrate, which is a printed circuit board. Substrate is provided with slots. Each groove comprises initial material. Each groove is connected with separate channel for air flow. Device has movable drive, which can be arranged so that to unlock said air flow channel after alignment with hole of said air flow channel, to feed air flow through initial material of at least one selected groove. Cartridge includes sections including initial material. Initial material includes active substance released during evaporation, and initial material is located so that air flow is passed through it.
EFFECT: technical result is delivery of active substance by inhalation, at which controlled part of initial material is heated independently from other parts of initial material.
