SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a device in several embodiments. The invention is designed to release at least one substance from the source material and includes: a housing; a set of sections with the source material located in fixed locations relative to the body; a set of air flow channels, each air flow channel being associated with at least one raw material section, and wherein each air flow channel is associated with at least one blocking element that prevents air from flowing through the channel; and an actuator coupled to the blocking element to operate the latter, the actuator being configured to unblock an air flow channel through at least one selected feedstock section to allow air flow to flow to and through the feedstock in the selected section.
EFFECT: invention performs its functions effectively.
