FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, to cardiovascular surgery. After longitudinal myotomy of muscular bridge tissues above the coronary artery is performed with an electric knife in a mode of contact unipolar coagulation sequential treatment of the edges of the muscular bridge from the surface layers to deep, not reaching the walls of artery 1–2 mm. Distance from the upper myocardial edges to the centre of the vessel is increased to 4–5 mm.

EFFECT: method enables sufficient separation of myocardial borders and prevents the formation of scar tissue above the coronary artery; eliminate lateral compression of coronary artery, since coronary artery occupies more physiological position; optimize haemodynamics in an artery throughout the cardiac cycle; as well as provide haemostasis of bleeding edges of muscle fibres.
