FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ionic motor (100) comprising: chamber (10), reservoir (20), means (30, 40) for forming ion-electron plasma in chamber (10), means (50) for extraction and acceleration of plasma ions and electrons from chamber (10) and radio-frequency source (30). Reservoir (20) contains solid working body (PS), is located in chamber (10) and contains conducting shell (21) provided with hole (22). Device (30, 40) for forming ion-electron plasma in chamber (10) is capable of subliming solid working medium in reservoir (20), that then to generate said plasma in chamber (10) from sublimated solid working medium coming from reservoir (20) through hole (22). Device (50) for extraction and acceleration of plasma ions and electrons from chamber (10) comprises at least two grids (52', 51) at one end (E) of chamber (10). Radio-frequency alternating voltage source (30) for generating a radio-frequency signal located between plasma frequencies of ions and electrons, is arranged in series with capacitor (53) and connected by one of its outputs and through this capacitor (53) to one (52') of grids, wherein other grid (51) is connected to the other output of said voltage source (30). Said extraction and acceleration means (50) and said voltage source (30) make it possible to form beam (70) of ions and electrons at the output of chamber (10).
EFFECT: disclosed engine does not require the use of the valve, which considerably simplifies the engine design and ensures its good reliability.
