SUBSTANCE: intravascular approach to an arteriovenous fistula is performed; intravenous introduction of triphosadenin in dose of 1 mg/kg of patient's body weight is performed. Then, with accompanying bradycardia ensured by angiographic control from intravascular access, non-adhesive embolisate is introduced into arteriovenous fistula by filling it with an embolisate, after cardiac rhythm restoration. If necessary, the procedure is repeated until the arteriovenous fistula is shut off from the blood flow.

EFFECT: method enables eliminating the risk of migration of embolizing materials into a venous system with intravascular shutdown of high-flow arteriovenous fistulas from cerebral arteriovenous malformations (AVM), thereby preventing complications in the form of development of venous infarctions of the brain or hemorrhage from AVM.
