FIELD: electroplating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating and can be used for application of coatings on valve metals and alloys. Device has a voltage source connected to a rectifier, the output of which is connected to a power factor corrector (PFC) with independent control of anode and cathode voltages at the output. Outputs of PFC are connected to inputs of autonomous inverter, in output circuit of which galvanic bath with part is located. Device contains voltage and current sensors on the bath with the part, which are connected to the control system, which is also connected to the inverter and PFC. In addition, in electric circuit in series with processed part throttle is installed, and parallel to it – electric switch, which is also connected to control system.
EFFECT: enlarging technological capabilities of micro-arc oxidation devices, obtaining processing modes with sharp and smooth changes of current fronts in one device.
