FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to dentistry and orthodontics. Diagnostic examination is performed using a cone-beam computed tomography. Apparatus for rapid palatine expansion of the upper jaw is then placed in the patient. Laser corticotomy is performed, for which a point corticotomy is applied through the mucosal laser between the roots of the teeth from the vestibular side along the whole length of the roots. After the procedure of transgingival laser corticotomy, the screw is activated for 4 turns per day of procedure and 3 turns a day after intervention for 10 days. Patient is then deactivated with a screw for narrowing by 3 turns day for 10 days. Said procedures are repeated 4 times, and total time of intensive expansion should be not less than 8 weeks. After 6 months of retention of achieved expansion apparatus is removed. During the entire treatment, the patient is monitored dynamically. 14 months after the active orthodontic treatment, a control examination is performed using a cone-beam computed tomography.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce density of bone tissue and to achieve faster expansion of upper jaw on bone level without surgical intervention in patients with constriction and deformation of upper jaw.
