FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to medicine, namely to a composition for treating arterial hypertension and cardiovascular pathologies associated with it, consisting of taken in therapeutically effective amounts β-adrenoreceptor agonist, I1-imidazoline receptor agonist, nitrogen oxide donor, where β adrenal blocker is selected from bisoprolol, carvedilol, pindolol, atenolol, wherein the I1-imidazoline receptor agonist is selected from moxonidine and rilmenidine, wherein the nitrogen oxide donor is selected from S-nitroso-N-acetylpenicillamine and sodium nitroprusside.
EFFECT: present invention provides synergy of combined action β-adrenoreceptor blocking agents and imidazoline agonists, which enables reducing effective therapeutic doses of each of the compounds, which inevitably leads to minimization of possible side effects associated with the administration of said compounds, and the third component in the form of an NO donor minimizes the negative action of imidazoline agonists on the intracellular calcium level, which leads to more effective control of myocardial contractility and reduces the risk of calcium overload of working cardiomyocytes, preventing the development of pathophysiological events in the heart.
