FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: use: in electrical engineering, in devices of transverse compensation in order to control power transmitted via transmission line. According to the invention, in a three-phase static power compensator, one or more phases of which are a branch comprising a series connection of the reactive element and output terminals of the variable sinusoidal voltage controller, voltage sensors are connected in parallel to the outputs of phases of the static power compensator, their outputs being connected to the inputs of the control system unit which controls variable sinusoidal voltages in phases of the static power compensator. In parallel with the outputs of one of phases of static power compensator is an additional branch consisting of series connection of output terminals of two additional regulators of variable sinusoidal voltage and reactive element, wherein the input terminals of the first additional variable sinusoidal voltage controller are connected to the outputs of the static power compensator phase, in parallel to which the additional branch is connected, and input terminals of second additional variable sinusoidal voltage controller are connected to two other phases of static power compensator. Reactive elements of one or several phases of static power compensator are made with possibility to control their reactive resistance and change of its nature.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the static power compensator, which enables to regulate both reactive and active power.
