FIELD: electrical engineering; power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used in the field of electrical engineering and power engineering to reduce the loss of electrical energy, regulate the voltage in the places where these devices are installed in the power transmission line (PTL), as well as control the power transmitted through the power transmission line. According to the method for controlling the operating mode of the power transmission line, implemented by a control device built on the basis of a reactive element and a sinusoidal voltage regulator connected by its input terminals to the power line and generating an adjustable sinusoidal voltage at its output terminals, which sets the voltage on the reactive element, the voltage on the reactive element is calculated based on the specified required operating mode of the power transmission line using information about the measured values of currents and voltages of the power transmission line at the points where the input terminals of the control device are connected to it, and they are formed by an alternating voltage regulator by algebraic summation of the instantaneous values of the regulated line voltages of all phases of the power transmission line, while the reactive element is additionally controlled by controlling the reactance of the reactive element. The device for controlling the operating mode of the power line consists of three independent regulators of sinusoidal voltages, the input terminals of which are connected respectively to different phases of the power line, and the output terminals are connected in series and connected to the controlled reactive element, voltage and current sensors included in the power line at the points of connection input terminals of the control device to the power line, and the outputs of the voltage and current sensors are connected to the inputs of the control unit.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at expanding the functionality of the method for controlling the operating mode of the power transmission line and the device for its implementation, allowing regulating active and reactive power simultaneously in all phases of the power transmission line.
