FIELD: liquid atomisation or spraying devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control housing, which is connected or is made with possibility of connection with cartridge with formation of aerosol delivery device, wherein the cartridge is equipped with a heating element and contains a composition of an aerosol precursor, and the control housing comprises a casing and, inside the casing, a control component configured to operate in an active mode, in which the control housing is connected to the cartridge, wherein the control component in the active mode is configured to control the heating element for activation and evaporation of the components of the aerosol precursor composition; and a gas sensor configured to detect the presence of gas in the environment of the control housing, including configured to determine the concentration of gas in the class of gases in the environment of the control housing, wherein the gas sensor is configured to output the signal as a reaction to the concentration of gases and in accordance therewith; and band-pass filter, functionally connected between gas sensor and control component and configured to receive a signal and pass only a portion of the signal corresponding to the concentration of the determined gas in said gas class, wherein the control component is also configured to control operation of at least one functional element of the aerosol delivery device when detecting the presence of gas, including is configured to control said at least one functional element based on concentration of gases, determined in such a way, wherein the control component is configured to receive and process a portion of the signal transmitted by the band-pass filter and to control said at least one functional element based thereon.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of detecting gases in the environment.
