FIELD: ventilation; measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of determining the number of microorganisms in air conditioning and ventilation systems. Technical result is achieved due to fact that in the known method of monitoring microbiological contamination of ventilation and air conditioning systems, including analysis of air pollution by analysing samples of condensate deposited on the cold plate of the Peltier element, according to invention Peltier element is used in thermal cycling mode so that at change of polarity of direct current hot and cold plates of Peltier element are interchanged, in cooling mode temperature of cold plate is set equal to temperature parameter of dew point by control of current through Peltier element, wherein hot plate temperature assumes a value of at least 70 K above cold side temperature, after which condensate sample is sampled, DC polarity is changed after 15-minute holding, condensate sample is sown on nutrient medium with subsequent thermostating, composition and number of separate components of microflora are visually analysed, and results of analysis are used to assess microbiological contamination of ventilation and conditioning systems.

EFFECT: technical result of the proposed method is reduction of labour intensity of sampling in hard-to-reach sections of air ducts of ventilation and air conditioning systems.
