FIELD: physics; electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic micro- and nanoelectronics, including to element base of artificial neural networks. Proposed superconducting neuron for a multilayer perceptron comprises a Josephson junction connected galvanically to the main inductance, which is galvanically connected both to the shunt inductance and to the auxiliary inductance; means for setting input signal in form of magnetic field, connected inductively with main and auxiliary inductances; means of output signal detection in the form of current value connected inductively with shunting inductance. Besides, proposed device provides conversion of input magnetic flux at input Fin (created by means of magnetic field setting) into current at output Iout (read by means of detection) according to law described by sigmoid function.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of speed and energy efficiency of superconducting neuron.
