TRAFFIC NETWORK BLOCKING TRACKING DURING OPERATIONAL CONTROL OF AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC B60W30/85

Abstract RU 2734732 C1

FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for monitoring traffic network interlocking. Method for monitoring traffic network interlocking comprises a step of moving vehicles on a traffic area based on accessibility probability. When moving along the traffic network, the locking tracking device is operated. Operation of the locking tracking device includes steps of determining information on the operational environment, determining the first area of the traffic network based on the current location and the identified route of the autonomous vehicle and determining the probability of accessibility of the first region based on the information on the operational environment. Determining the probability of accessibility of the first region includes steps of determining a second expected path of the second external object and a second area of the traffic network corresponding to the spatial and temporal intersection of the first expected path and the second expected path. Provided that the first external object is a remote vehicle, determining that the second expected path includes a second external object moving on the second portion of the traffic network corresponding to the second area in the first temporary location, and determining that the first expected path includes the first external object moving on the second portion in the second time location following the first temporary location.

EFFECT: higher safety of autonomous vehicles movement.
