FIELD: cutting tools.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tool (10) for processing a workpiece, comprising: holder (12) comprising a first internal channel (36); cutting insert (14) comprising main cutting edge (58); first fastening element for attachment of cutting insert (14) to holder (12) with possibility of disconnection; substantially plate-like guide device (16) for coolant, comprising a second inner channel (38) for coolant; and second fastening element (24) for attaching coolant guide device (16) to holder (12) with possibility of disconnection. In the assembled state of tool (10), the first internal coolant channel (36) is in fluid communication with the second inner channel (38) for the coolant and guide device (16) for coolant covers at least part of cutting insert (14). Guide device (16) for coolant comprises first opening (30), which is made in form of recess or through hole and provides possibility of access to first fastening element (22), so that cutting insert (14) is made with possibility of separate disconnection from holder (12) by disconnection of first fastening element (22), even when guide device (16) for cooling substance is attached to holder (12), and guide device (16) for cooling substance is made with possibility of separate disconnection from holder (12) by means of disconnection of second fastening element (24), even when cutting insert (14) is attached to holder (12).

EFFECT: technical result is providing cooling of tool closest to cutting edge with simplified design.
