SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an evaporator assembly for an aerosol-generating system, such as a hand-held electric aerosol-generating system. Evaporation system (10) evaporation unit (12b) comprises device (30) for delivering a liquid aerosol-forming substrate, intended for delivery of liquid aerosol-forming substrate, and heating assembly (40). Heating assembly comprises heat-resistant substrate (42) and electric heating element (46). Device for delivering a liquid aerosol-forming substrate delivers a liquid aerosol-forming substrate to at least a heat resistant substrate surface, wherein the heating element is isolated from the liquid aerosol-forming substrate.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of visual monitoring of the purity of the functional components of the evaporator used in the aerosol generating systems, possibility of easy and high-quality cleaning of separate components by users.
