FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling and regulating a speed mode of a vehicle. When the vehicle is traveling over a certain road section with exceeding the permissible speed, a satellite having wireless communication with the vehicle transceiver, determines the vehicle location and transmits a signal to the transceiver to limit the speed to the value not exceeding the permissible value on the given road segment. From the transceiver, the signal is transmitted via electric wires to the on-board information-control system, which controls the fuel supply in the fuel system of the vehicle, and the vehicle speed is reduced.
EFFECT: reduced accident rate at certain sections of roads.
