FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Network unit configured to transmit a wakeup signal (WUS) for waking up wireless communication receivers, receiving an indication of the maximum error in the frequency of the waking radio receiver associated with the wireless communication receiver, such that the pass band of the non-data transmission for exclusive use of the WUS can be determined. WUS is transmitted through a WUS transmission frequency interval with a WUS transmission bandwidth, wherein the WUS transmission bandwidth is equal to or less than the pass band of the non-data transmission. Wireless communication receiver transmits a message to a network node indicating a maximum awakening radio frequency error, wherein the maximum frequency error serves to determine, by the network node, the non-data transmission for the exclusive use of the WUS.
EFFECT: technical result consists in elimination of interference to receive WUS caused by data transmitted in parallel to WUS.
