FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for wireless communication device, and such device, configured to use activation signal (WUS), transmitted for activation of main receiver of wireless communication device in response to WUS detection by receiver for activation (WIR) from wireless communication device. Method includes controlling bandwidth associated with a WUS based on a reception condition metric for WUR. Embodiments may include determining a reception condition metric for WUR by correlating a received signal comprising WUS, with reference signal WUS to provide extreme value of correlation, and definition of metric of reception conditions for WUR on the basis of extreme value of correlation. In some embodiments, controlling bandwidth associated with WUS, based on reception condition metric may contain control of WUS bandwidth based on reception conditions metric. Wireless communication device may be wireless communication device or AP.
EFFECT: technical result is improved detection of WUS while maintaining low power consumption.
