SUBSTANCE: use for visualization of terahertz radiation sources. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that the apparatus for visualizing terahertz radiation sources comprises a terahertz radiation source, converter of terahertz radiation into infrared radiation, located between input terahertz lens and infrared camera lens, is provided with a cutting filter with possibility of filtering thermal radiation of a terahertz radiation source with wavelengths of not more than 30 mcm, wherein on the illuminated surface of the terahertz radiation converter there is a monolayer of dielectric mesodimensional particles forming photon jets and with a characteristic particle size of not less than λ/2, where λ is the wavelength of the used radiation, wherein the refraction index of the material of the particles is selected, which lies in the range of approximately 1.2 to 1.7.
EFFECT: high sensitivity of the device.
