FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering and a method of determining relative spectral luminous efficacy of a human eye. Method includes measuring, on a visual colorimeter in a selected RGB colorimetric system, the intensity of three main monochromatic colors with their subsequent equalization with single intensities of monochromatic radiations of white color E in the entire range of the visible spectrum. From obtained intensities for primary colors and selected wavelength of 0.555 mcm, for which spectral light efficiency is taken equal to 1, solving system of equations relative to spectral light effectiveness of primary colors R, G, B. Derived values are used to determine relative spectral light efficiency of the human eye in the whole range of the visible spectrum.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in the measurements accuracy.
