FIELD: vessels and other watercrafts.
SUBSTANCE: device of head part of universal periscope can be used in periscopes of submarines. Proposed device comprises housing, protective opening, gyroscopic line stabilization system, television camera with pancratic lens, remote controlled electric drive. In a television camera with a pancratic lens, one colour matrix with a replaceable red light filter is used to form a colour and black-and-white image. Moving components of the pancratic lens are moved by tracking drives according to signals of position sensors of the pancratic lens. Additional non-stabilized small-size surveillance television camera with a wide field of vision is installed in the head part.
EFFECT: technical result is high resolution and sensitivity of a television channel with a pancratic lens, reduced dimensions of the sight and improved operational characteristics of the universal periscope.
