FIELD: marine plants.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a marine installation system and a method of installing an element on a riser under the sea surface. Marine installation system for installation of wear component on riser includes: cable passing between two support points, wherein said cable is inclined relative to horizontal line; first ROV configured to mount said wear element on said cable in first position; second ROV is made with possibility to remove said wear element from said cable in second position and installation of said wear element on said riser.
EFFECT: technical result is protection of risers from damage.
